7% Farmer Quota Plots in Sector 25

The Yamuna Expressway is a 6-lane expressway in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It connects the national capital, New Delhi, with Agra, a major city known for the Taj Mahal.

It’s common for governments to reserve a certain percentage of land for farmers in various sectors and development projects. This practice is often aimed at ensuring that farmers receive benefits and compensation when their lands are acquired for development purposes. By reserving a percentage of plots in a specific sector, farmers are given the opportunity to participate in and benefit from the development activities taking place in that area.

In the case of Sector 25 on the Yamuna Expressway, it appears that 7% of the plots in that sector have been designated specifically for farmers. This allocation may enable farmers to retain ownership of a portion of the land or provide them with opportunities for investment, development, or alternate means of livelihood.
